each km, a big block of effort (ski erg, lunges, rowing machine, burpees, etc.).

OFFICIAL HYROX FORMAT
8KM OF RUN & 8 WORKOUTS
- SkiErg– 1,000 m.
→ A big warm-up to start, cardio + arms + back. - Sled Push– Sled push.
→ You push a heavily loaded sled over a certain distance… guaranteed burning legs. - Sled Pull– Sled pull.
→ Same sled, but this time you pull it with a rope. Power + grip combo. - Burpee Broad Jumps– Burpees with long jump.
→ You do a burpee, jump forward, and repeat... several times. - Rowing– 1,000 m.
→ Just rowing. But after everything that’s come before, it’s not that simple. - Kettlebell Farmers Carry– Walking with kettlebells.
→ Two heavy kettlebells in each hand, you walk. Easy at first… then your grip hates you. - Sandbag Lunges– Lunges with a sandbag.
→ Long forward lunges, bag on your shoulders. Technique, balance, endurance. - Wall Balls– Medicine ball throws against a wall.
→ You squat, you throw, you squat, you throw… until the last rep. And it’s the finish line!
